The short version: we collect what we need to match you with your people, we guard it carefully, and we never sell it.
CEOL is a music community that connects people through their music taste. We match you with like-minded listeners in your city and bring you together at real-life events. You can reach us any time at team@joinceol.com.
When you sign up we collect your name, email address, age, city, and the music data you share with us, such as playlist exports or links to your music profiles (for example Spotify or Apple Music).
If you leave us a voicemail, we collect the recording you choose to submit.
We also collect basic analytics about how the site is used, so we can make it better.
We use your data to build your music profile, match you with people whose taste fits yours, organise city events, and keep you updated by email.
Voicemail recordings may be used in CEOL content and marketing, and you consent to that use by submitting a recording.
We process your data based on the consent you give when you sign up, and on our legitimate interest in running the community you joined.
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data at any time. You can withdraw consent or restrict processing by emailing team@joinceol.com. We will act on your request without fuss.
We use a small number of trusted services to run CEOL: Supabase (accounts and data), Loops (email), Stripe (payments), SpeakPipe (voicemails), and Vercel (hosting).
We do not sell your data.
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we will.
Your data is protected with HTTPS encryption, secure servers, and limited access within our team.
